I got 5 new release lined up for you once again. Let’s dive in.

You’d Be Paranoid too (If Everyone Was Out To Get You) – Waterparks

You’d Be Paranoid too (If Everyone Was Out To Get You) – Waterparks

Starting of with slow strumming guitar and loud vocals by Awsten, the song quickly introduces its full instrumentation, which is more bass heavy. In typical waterparks fashion the song is quick flowing in the verses and goes for a more sing along style chorus. Introducing the second chorus with some new effects the song flows into the bridge right after with soloing guitars, suddenly cut of the song goes with the lone guitar from the intro once again to then go full blast on with one last chorus.

Lyrically the song talks about the pressure of fame and like the title suggests feeling like Everyone is out to get you.

What I like about this song is the quick flow and the angst filled vocals that are featured throughout the song.

Deathwish- Stand Atlantic ft nothing,nowhere

Deathwish- Stand Atlantic ft nothing,nowhere

Starting of with muted guitars and Bonnie her softer vocals, the song quickly introduces electronic beats into the mix. Blasting off on the start of the chorus with louder guitars and synths. The second verse starts with bars by nothing, nowhere before going back to Bonnie her energetic vocals build back to the chorus. Going back to this dynamic on the next verse the last chorus is introduced by a whispering Bonnie. The song plays itself out with some effects and synths.

Lyrically the song talks about seeking more danger and heaving a deathwish.

What I like about this song where the contrasting sound, this song featured way more electronic effects than a usual “Stand Atlantic” song but instrumentation still carried Bonnie her vocal energy. I also liked the build of the song, going with the flows of Nothing, Nowhere on the verses and Bonnie her singing on the chorus.

THNKS FR TH MMRS – The Maine (originally by Fall Out Boy)

THNKS FR TH MMRS – The Maine (originally by Fall Out Boy)

Opening with acoustic guitars, John his vocals quickly are added with an almost dreamy effect to it. The song has a smooth overall feel going into the chorus. The second verse feels more emotional than the first and flows back to the chorus even faster. Keeping with its dreamy feel the song drips from the bridge, to the last chorus burning out the song.

Lyrically the song is a goodbye between lovers.

What I like about this song is how the flipped this cover, going from the angst filled and angry Fall out Boy version, to an emotional acoustic tune.

Love Race – Machine Gun Kelly ft Kelling Quinn

Love Race – Machine Gun Kelly ft Kelling Quinn

Starting with lone piano, MGK his rougher vocals and pop punk style guitars are added on the first verse. Mixing MGK his vocals and Kelling his vocals on the chorus the song seems to go louder. The second verse is alternated between the two vocalist and quickly flows back to the chorus. Which, also marks the end of the song. Going back to the piano the play the song out.

Lyrically this song is basically a love song, describing love as a race.

What I like about this song is the fast nature it has, flowing quickly form its opening to its last verse. I also like the contrast between the vocals.

Jaded – Royals

Jaded – Royals

Opening with neon style synths before matching the tones with guitars and rhythmic beats. The vocals add a raw edge to the song. The chorus itself goes more into the synth direction. The second verse focuses more on electric guitars and drums, just as the second chorus does. The bridge is introduces by some synths but than goes into guitar driven instrumentals. Flowing back to the chorus on last time the song ends.

Lyrically the song is driven by mental health and describing the feelings.

What I like about this song are the pop driven hooks with upbeat guitars, just like good pop punk should be.
