PVRIS: A night Of White Noise

Last Tuesday Pvris played at the Patronaat and of course I went to see them. But as always let’s focus on the supporting band first

For their support they brought a Dutch band called The Overslept, this was a nice bonus for me because I have been a fan of the overslept for a long time. The Overslept is a pop rock band consisting of Sem Jonkhout, Tommy de best, Daniël van den Brink and Délano Ladurner. their musical style is pop rock with pop punk influences

Their set took about 45 min during which they played songs “Addicted to the Rush” “Broken Home” “Little Miss Has-Been” “Ready To Go” and “Save Our Souls

Then let’s move to the main event PVRIS, PVRIS is a synth pop rock band, consisting of Lynn Gunn, Alex Babinski and Brian MacDonald. Their first ‘’Ep White Noise’’ was released in 2014, with their second releasing in 2017 “All We Know of Heaven, All We Need of Hell”

During their 90 min set the band brought the stage presence they are known for and played such hits as “Death of Me” “Smoke” and “Heaven”. Lynn Gunn joked about her bad memory and the band played an Encore consisting of “St. Patrick and “My House”
